I know I said I wouldn't be writing anymore for this year but I just gotta write this one, shelve it here for my future reference.
Today the world witnessed a history being made. I wish to say it was the good kind but of course it was completely the opposite. Trump won the presidency and it couldn't have provoked a nastier response from the crowd; or so I thought. I know I shouldn't have said much about this having to always try to exclude myself from political decisions but I stand my ground - I didn't cast a vote for my own country because we were left with no choice and it sucks.
It's even worse to feel for the other side of the world because they had choices and yet, this evil white male won. I have nothing against the white race; provided that they do nothing against my race but this presidential race just proved one of my worst fears: that America is actually made up of a bunch of idiotic racist people and it is terribly sad.
Some people asked, why are we so worried it's not even our country. Do you even know that the ruling power of this unfair world falls on which country? I hope that answered your question, though. Because it's time to realize how influential America can be and with this racist psycho man leading the nation - anything can happen. I still pray for that "anything" to move towards the good side of things but we can't deny how bad this is going to turn out.
I fear for the next generation. What will the world turn into? I can't even imagine having kids growing up in this kind of world and here I am describing everything in general. It is such a sad sad realization; the world is no longer at peace. Why are we becoming this way? Someone needs to tell me something I don't already know.
I just hope in the next few months or years, when I come back to this post, I would be proven wrong. That actually this latest presidency will make the world a better place.
We can only hope.
