I'm sorry, I was sidetracking.
This post is pointless but I feel like doing a mini review. Suicide Squad was okay because it was finally screened. But it was not okay because I had high expectations. The marketing has been super misleading and I think that was one of the root causes as to why some people were not happy with the movie. I was sad because some of the major storyline was tweaked from the comic, like the true origin of Enchantress and Diablo but it's okay, it's normal to have some things changed.
Joker was loveable in that movie and honestly, it's wrong and misleading. Joker was never that loving to Harley Quinn throughout their relationship. He was indeed loyal but Harley was more like a slave to him rather than a lover. Jared Leto was beautiful but prolly too beautiful to be playing as a twisted villain. Leto was amazing in Dallas Buyers Club but this was kinda disappointing. I think it was portrayed badly because people expected him to surpass Ledger's portrayal of Joker but of course that'd be too much to ask. I love Boomerang simply because he's Jai Courtney and Jai Courtney is bae so my review could be very berat sebelah so yes you don't need to agree with me on anything. But seriously, it was so disappointing because the character development is so shitty, the CGI is horrendous (oh my god Incubus might as well be scraped off from the whole movie please), the storyline is too rushed and somehow overlapping. This is indeed a product of pure eagerness clouded with the need to please. You tried, DC. You really did. But it's okay, never give up yeah? And I don't mean it in a sarcastic way. I just feel sorry for them. Cue long sigh right here.
And then there's this Pokemon Go stuff.
God I get it, it's a waste of time and it's just a game but people need to sit the heck down and just take a chill pill. I find it hilarious when people took the time to send hatred via social media posts towards people who enjoy playing the game. I wanted to be annoyed because yes you got it, I'm playing it too but then I remember; people have different preferences so yes, to each their own.
Putting aside all the security and safety risks, it's a fun thing to do. I needed to play it so bad because I basically grew up with Pokemon and bro, I know almost all the names to them pocket monsters so I am pretty sure I have the right to experience my once-a-childhood-thing in the real world and that's exactly why I'm so happy playing it. Is it really wrong? I don't know man. If it's affecting your work and your safety, then don't. Don't do it. But if it's controllable, what's the big deal? It's all about self-control people. Why is that so hard to brain, I don't understand.
OKlah I'm done with merepek-ing here. I'll write insightful stuff soon. No promises.
