♫ Bibi Bourelly — "Ego"
We always say "God removes the bad people from our lives". But what makes you think; you are the good one in someone's life? Perhaps "God had to remove you from their lives".
I have always wanted to write about this but I could never find the right way to express it in such sentence, until I found this quote shared by a dear friend on Facebook. Didn't it make you think? It made me think and it sure did humble me.
You know how certain people tend to put the blame on others when bad things happen to them? Like as if they're not deserving of the pain and suffering they are going through. Rather than accept that it's one of God's ways to test them, they tell themselves that it happened because that particular someone is bad for them and it's a good thing that they are no longer involved with them. Have we ever thought for one second that we could be the bad thing for that person's life instead? Nope, people always end up justifying that God is trying to protect them from these "bad" people. Rarely do people realize their own fault and accept it as a reminder that there are certain parts that we still need to improve on.
I mean I get it, sometimes you're just too hurt — the only way to be okay with such pain is to think that it all happened for a reason and there is someone better waiting for us out there. Yeap, just sit back and wait. You deserve all the good things God has to give, don't you? You don't need to work on it. You're perfect, you need no fixing on yourself either. Eventually, good things will come to you. Doesn't that sound wrong to you at all? I don't know, you tell me.
I wish I could write more on this but I prefer talking about it (just because I don't know how to describe whatever I'm saying unless I'm babbling in my native language lol) but I just hope some people would just start owning up to their actions. God won't punish you for mistakes done by someone else and He certainly wouldn't punish someone else for your wrongdoings. What makes you think you have to suffer for someone else's bad traits?
Take the easiest example. Someone doesn't want to be your friend anymore so the friendship was lost. Does that mean God removed that person from your life because he or she is bad for you? Don't you think that it might be because you've been treating that person like shit; that caused him or her to cut ties with you? Why is it so hard to accept the fact that we are responsible for own actions?
Life is not that easy, ok! So don't be that lazy. If you know what I mean.
