It's Tuesday, people.

♫ James Bay  "Let It Go"

Been writing continuously and I shall keep this momentum going. Oh hey, nothing huge happened in the past few days that I feel the need to blog but I'm just going to talk about a few things that I stumbled upon whilst browsing the web (or the news if you think I'm procrastinating at work lol). But first, let me talk about my meet-up with my so-called long lost cousin two days ago.

The last time I saw him was probably in 2012? It was an unplanned hangout because he didn't tell me in advance about his arrival but I'm so glad we met because he kind of reminds me of the good times (well, BAD to be honest) in Kuching that makes me not want to go there ever again. But then I was reminded by the new part of me that no longer wants to feel all these petty leftover bad memories towards my past so thank God I felt fine after that. That's all about my former knight in shining armour - trust me, he was that person who nodded and shaken his head at my choices in life and still stuck by my side anyway because he has no choice but to abide to the fact that we're blood-tied lol why was I such a mess, I have no freaking idea.

Moving on. Few days back I was forwarded this one message regarding this girl who suffered corneal abrasion due to her wearing contact lenses and I read a lot of positive/negative feedbacks towards it and being someone who wears lenses sometimes too, I feel the need to say this - it's basically up to you. (Sunshine please don't be mad, I'm glad you gave me that post and I swear I will be more careful next time around with my lenses).

I'm always against girls who wear coloured contact lens just for the sake of being pretty (I'm basically against coloured lenses as a whole but let's not go there today). Yeah it's your right and it's your money but if you have perfect eyesight; what the hell do you think you're doing? If it doesn't come with the risks of getting your eyes blinded for some reasons, you can wear a rainbow coloured ones for all I care. And yes it's still wrong to get used to wearing lenses even when your eyesight is as bad. I use them too, especially during events when I am compelled to wear them (not going to sound like I'm justifying my act but it is what it is) and right now I'm still trying to limit my usage of them because yes I always forgot to take them off at the end of the day which led me to rubbing my eyes aggressively sometimes and they always end up missing somewhere (I only wear transparent coloured lenses so please don't tell me I'm careless) and this has led me to spend more money on it and ugh I hate spending extra money on anything.

I know I'm getting off track ha I was just too absorbed with the whole thing I don't even know what I really wanted to say in the first place. Oh right, yes it's true maybe you could prevent such thing from happening if you would just be extra careful with your lenses' cleansing routine and your daily activities but then again as the Greatest Being in the world once said;

Kun faya kun!  if you know what I mean.

(now that is such an abrupt ending and omg I know it's so freaking rude so this is me saying goodbye till my next post!)
