Desire.

I cannot stand cold temperatures. I never thank the aircond for its existence in my house, the shopping malls and especially the cinemas. I can't even stand the pool. Showering in cold water would give me instant yellow hands which are so freaking painful by the way and I had to wait a few agonizing minutes for it to subside. Whenever I forget to bring a sweater or anything thick to the cinema, I would always end up with cold hives around my legs and arms and I would start scratching like crazy.

This reminds me of that one unfortunate day in Midvalley where I couldn't stand the itch and swelling I cried while power-walking my way back to the car. Another one was when I was visiting London during one summer and it rained. I repeat, it was summer. I was shivering like crazy my lips and face turned blue I was escorted to the nearest store to be "heated up" with a heater lol I stayed in for a few hours there. This is why I never complain about the weather being too hot. But not recently though. When someone who loves the sun in all its ways could complain about it being too much - that's when I realize climate change is real.

But we are here today not to talk about climate change, just yet. It happens that I was doing a 6-page feature on climate change for the upcoming issue and it sure did teach me a lot about all the bad things we're doing to our mother earth. But hey, human beings never learn. Moving on.

I am counting days to Marshie's big day though. It sucks to not be able to be involved in the whole preparation beforehand but I can't whine about it now since it's less than a month to go. I shall dedicate a blog post to her soon because I don't wanna get acquainted with these sad feelings just yet. Not today, satan.

I've been seriously neglecting my books to the point that I can't even look my shelf in the eye (well, you get what I mean) anymore for fear that it would yell at me for not bothering to touch any of the books for the past few weeks. The last book I fully read was Frankie Presto ok so yeah. I went to Google today and typed in I NEED A GOOD BOOK. Lol it redirected me to my goodreads' to-read list. Huh, the nerves that I had.

Oklah, more serious matters soon I promise. Till then, smile always!
